About Archie

Archie provides workplace management software for offices and shared workspaces.
Its platform helps businesses manage meeting rooms, desk bookings, visitors and space occupancy, making it easier for teams to manage how their workplaces are used.
Challenge
Archie wanted to strengthen its visibility across Reddit, LLM results and Google AI Overviews.
The goal went beyond simply generating more mentions.
Archie wanted to bring its point of view into relevant industry conversations, create greater awareness around the product and help potential buyers understand how its solution differed from other options in the market.
That meant the strategy couldn't depend entirely on finding existing discussions to participate in. There was an opportunity to build a useful destination for those conversations while growing Archie's broader presence on the platform.
And because Reddit is built around trust and community participation, that growth needed to happen the right way.
The approach had to be white-hat, transparent and genuinely useful to the people taking part in the conversations.
Strategy
We built Archie's Reddit programme around a simple principle: create value before trying to create visibility.
Rather than treating Reddit as another distribution channel for branded marketing content, we focused on understanding what people in the market actually wanted to discuss and where Archie could contribute something useful.
Every part of the programme was shaped around the context of the conversation rather than forcing the brand into discussions where it didn't naturally belong.
That was something the client specifically highlighted:
The core reason why it was a successful project was understanding the relevance of the conversation and how to shape content accordingly and executing that
Building the Community
With limited existing conversation around parts of the category, growing Archie's subreddit became an important part of the strategy.
The goal wasn't simply to increase the member count.
We wanted to create a community that people would actually visit, participate in and eventually contribute to themselves.
Within two months, the subreddit grew adding several new members during the period.
The community also generated 4000+ views.
That meant activity was no longer coming solely from the brand. Community members were beginning to start their own conversations and contribute independently.
For a newly growing subreddit, that was an important indication that the community was developing its own momentum.
A White-Hat Approach to Reddit
Reddit works differently from most marketing channels.
Users expect contributions to be relevant, useful and appropriate to the communities they're participating in. A strategy built around promotion first is unlikely to create the kind of trust Archie wanted.
So the programme was intentionally white-hat from the beginning.
Instead of focusing on volume or forcing brand mentions, we prioritised:
- Useful contributions only
- Relevant conversations instead of unnecessary brand exposure
- Transparent participation
- Content created specifically for how people use Reddit
- Long-term community value over short-term visibility
The aim was to make Archie's presence useful enough that brand awareness could grow naturally alongside it.
Visibility Beyond Reddit
The strategy wasn't built around Reddit in isolation.
Archie originally wanted to improve visibility across Reddit, LLM results and Google AI Overviews because the platforms increasingly form part of the same discovery journey.
As the Reddit programme developed, Archie began seeing signals that its presence was contributing to wider brand discovery.
The client noticed an increase in branded searches while the programme was running.
There were other marketing initiatives happening at the same time, so neither Archie nor Scalerrs attributed that growth entirely to Reddit.
But there were more direct signals too.
Reddit occasionally came up in sales conversations, with prospects telling the Archie team that they had discovered the company through the platform.
For a channel where attribution isn't always straightforward, those signals gave the team confidence that the programme was reaching people beyond subreddit engagement metrics alone.
Community-Led Content
An important part of the strategy was allowing the community to become more than a place for branded posts.
The content created by Scalerrs was designed to encourage useful conversations around topics relevant to Archie's market rather than making every discussion about the product.
Over time, community participation started becoming a larger part of the content mix.
With 40% of subreddit posts coming organically from Reddit users, the community was beginning to create conversations independently.
That distinction matters.
Building a subreddit with hundreds of members is one result. Building one where people voluntarily start contributing is a much stronger indication that the community itself is becoming useful.
Collaborative Execution
Archie already had some familiarity with Reddit before partnering with Scalerrs, so the programme wasn't built as a rigid agency playbook.
The Archie team brought its own knowledge of the industry and ideas it wanted to explore. Scalerrs brought Reddit expertise, execution and an outside perspective on how those ideas could translate to the platform.
When Archie identified an opportunity worth testing, the Scalerrs team could evaluate it and move quickly rather than forcing everything through a predetermined strategy.
The client described it as a genuinely collaborative relationship:
Whenever we had something from our side that we thought, ‘We know the industry, we think we should try this,’ it was awesome that we could execute that with you.
The operational side of the programme was equally structured.
Content approvals, processes and performance tracking gave Archie clear visibility into how the work was progressing without adding unnecessary management overhead.
Results
Within two months, Archie's subreddit:
- Grew to 350+ members
- Added 184 new members
- Generated 4.8K+ views
- Reached a point where 40% of posts were being created organically by Reddit users
The impact also extended beyond the subreddit itself.
Archie saw signals of increased branded search activity, while prospects occasionally mentioned finding the company through Reddit during sales conversations.
Most importantly, the programme showed that a white-hat Reddit strategy could create visibility without sacrificing the community-first nature of the platform.
Rather than simply publishing content around the brand, Archie built a growing space where people were increasingly participating and creating conversations themselves.
