Challenge
Default operates in one of the most competitive categories in GTM. Established, well-funded players like Chili Piper and LeanData had years of brand equity and budget. Default was the underdog.
But they were building something different: an all-in-one inbound revenue orchestration platform that replaces the entire Frankenstack of disjointed tools (e.g., Chili Piper for scheduling + LeanData for routing + Clearbit for enrichment + Zapier for connection). And they were growing fast.
Stan, Head of Growth, was running the whole function solo. When we first spoke, he wasn't even sold on SEO as a channel yet. And if he was going to do it, he wanted to try it himself before handing it off to anyone.
Eventually he decided to just trust Scalerrs fully. They started with SEO strategy and content, and as results came in, expanded into AI search optimization and Reddit.
Strategy
We dived into Default's ICP and mapped out their highest-intent keywords. These are the terms their buyers search right before they're ready to buy.

From that we built their SEO and AI search strategy.
- On the SEO side, we went after every high-value category term we could own on SERP (starting with BOFU keywords)
- On the AEO side, we reverse-engineered exactly what sources AI models pull from when a buyer types a prompt. Reddit threads, blogs, review sites—every source citing our target keywords. Then we created content across those channels targeting the core keywords/prompts so Default would show up in AI search.

Content Creation
Content was the engine. Everything we wrote spoke directly to Default's ICP, was in-depth enough to convert, and structured so AI search could pick up the right signals—what Default does well, where it beats the competition, why it wins over a Frankenstack of five disconnected tools.

Link Building
We then built links to multiple high-authority SaaS and B2B domains to power up Default's most important pages.
This meant more visibility on Google and more coverage from AI which scrapes those exact pages when answering buyer prompts.

Finally, as Reddit started ranking high in SERP and became one of the most-cited sources in AI search, we doubled down on that channel too.
Since buyers were already in threads comparing inbound routing tools, we got Default into those conversations naturally. We used employee accounts and commented with a value-first approach.

Results
In a year and a half of working together:
- Organic clicks grew from 300 to over 4,000 per month
- 30% of Default's total pipeline now comes from SEO/AEO
- Over $300K in pipeline generated from organic in a single month alone
