About Onymos

Onymos is a B2B SaaS company operating in the clinical laboratory space, primarily serving labs in the US.
Challenge
Onymos came to us with a clear goal: grow website traffic within four to six months and make SEO and AI search stronger lead generation channels.
But clinical laboratory software is a niche market. On top of understanding the product and ICP, we needed to understand how US clinical labs operate and the wider healthcare environment they sit within.
Jamie was also managing a lot of the marketing function himself. He needed a team that could get up to speed quickly, build the strategy and run with it.
We started with SEO strategy and content creation, then expanded the programme across AI search and Reddit.
Strategy
We started by learning Onymos’ ICP, product and market in detail.
That included auditing existing content, identifying gaps and mapping the searches most closely connected to the problems Onymos solves.
The strategy went beyond traditional keyword research. We looked at:
- What type of content was already ranking
- The intent behind each query
- How closely each topic mapped to an Onymos buyer
- Where Onymos should be positioned within the content
- How the structure needed to evolve for AI search
This gave Onymos a much clearer direction for content creation, particularly in a space where there are countless competing SEO frameworks and recommendations. The client specifically highlighted the clarity of the strategy around both keywords and the type of content that currently performs in search.
Content Creation
Content was the main growth engine.
Everything we wrote had to work for a very specific ICP while still being useful enough to compete in search. We targeted both educational searches and high-intent software categories that Onymos' buyers were actively researching.
Jamie put it well:
“You guys had a very clear strategy around not just the keywords, but the kind of content that does rank today.”
Some blogs we wrote for Onymos:
- Build or Buy Intelligent Document Processing?
- IDP vs OCR
- Revenue Cycle Management Software
- Best LIMS Software
- Healthcare Document Management Systems
And the content quickly became a major source of organic growth.
Other blog pages around AI lab tools, lab automation software, lab management software and revenue cycle management also became some of the site's highest-clicked organic pages.
AI Search
Onymos was effectively starting from zero when it came to tracked AI search visibility.
We started monitoring relevant prompts and added PromptWatch to the reporting stack as the programme developed.
But we didn't just track the numbers. We kept changing the content itself based on what we were seeing, including how pages were structured and where Onymos was positioned within the article.
Within a few months, Onymos was consistently appearing for relevant searches across:
- ChatGPT
- Gemini
- Claude
We also created content for Reddit as part of the wider search programme.
The goal was to get Onymos visibility outside of its own website and into relevant third-party discussions, particularly as Reddit became increasingly important across both traditional search and AI search.
Results
In around five months of working together:
- Organic clicks increased by 54%
- Organic impressions increased by 327%
- Search Console recorded 1.5K clicks and 664K impressions
- Organic traffic grew by approximately 3x
- Traffic grew from a few hundred visits to almost 1,000
- Onymos began appearing consistently across ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude
- Newly published content became a major contributor to the site's organic search performance
