Challenge
Brendan, Head of Growth Marketing, had been in the role for three to four months when he started looking for external SEO support. Qwilr was already seeing some results from SEO, but they wanted to scale up. They had a new view on what their SEO strategy needed to look like, but didn't have someone in the details across what other SaaS companies were doing when it comes to SEO.
There was also a lot of existing content sitting in technical debt. The foundation needed work before they could scale.

Strategy
We dived into Qwilr's ICP and mapped out their highest-intent keywords. From that, we built a strategy focused on the terms that mattered most for pipeline, not just traffic.
SEO
The first few months were focused purely on strategy. Qwilr had a lot of content in technical debt, so before scaling anything, there was a significant amount of pruning and restructuring to get things in a good place.

From there, we mapped out Qwilr's highest-intent keywords, narrowed down on their ICP, and built a strategy around the terms that mattered most for pipeline. Brandon noted that alignment on ICP and keyword priorities happened quickly, which isn't always the case with agency partners.
Content
Content was restructured around Qwilr's ICP and the terms their buyers search during the buying process. The blog became a direct contributor to qualified sign-ups, not just a traffic channel.
